IS-BAO Workshop Schedule
IBAC presents IS-BAO Workshops to assist operators who are implementing, or considering implementing, the IS-BAO, to accredit potential IS-BAO auditors and to provide information to other interested parties. As the number and location of IS-BAO Workshops is contingent upon demand, suggestions of venues and dates for Workshops are welcome. Should anyone believe that there is a critical mass of individuals interested in a Workshop in areas not shown on the schedule, wish to host a Workshop or recommend a location, please contact Katherine Perfetti, IBAC Standards Manager.

Introduction to IS-BAO Workshop
This Workshop is designed to assist operators implementing, or considering
implementing, the IS-BAO. The Workshop outline includes:
· Background and general information about IS-BAO
· Detailed discussion about IS-BAO standards
· Implementing IS-BAO
· Safety Management Systems (SMS)
· Risk assessment and mitigation techniques
· Audit processes
To gain full benefit from the Workshop participants should bring:
· IS-BAO an International Standards for Business Aircraft Operations
· Guidelines for the Conduct of Risk Analysis by Business Aircraft Operators
· IS-BAO Internal Audit Manual.
The latter two documents are contained in the current IS-BAO CD.
Workshop Fee - Introduction to IS-BAO Workshop:
•400 USD
Note: For Workshops to be held after 1 March 2010
this fee will increase to 500 USD. Fees paid prior to
15 January 2010 will be honoured.
· Per attendee.
· Includes workshop participation only.

Auditor Accreditation Workshop
This new workshop is required for the initial and renewal accreditation of auditors. Note that auditors applying for initial accreditation must also take the Introduction to IS-BAO Workshop.
The Workshop outline includes:
· IS-BAO concept, history and status
· Auditing basics
· Audit process
· SMS evaluation
· Following the protocols
· Audit reports
· Auditor issues
Auditor Workshop Fee:
•400 USD
per attendee – no accreditation provided. Includes Audit Procedures Manual
Note: For Workshops to be
held after 1 March 2010 this fee will increase to 750 USD. Fees paid prior to
15 January 2010 will be honoured.
Auditor Initial Accreditation Fee:
•1500 USD
Note: For Workshops to be
held after 1 March 2010 this fee will increase to 2500 USD. Fees paid prior
to
15 January 2010 will be honoured
Includes:
· Workshop participation
· IS-BAO and Audit Procedures Manuals
· Accreditation of an organization or an individual
Initial auditor accreditation applicants will receive the following credits
if they:
· either already possess a copy of the IS-BAO Standard
and are on record with IBAC as being the custodian of that document: 300
USD
· or, if they will become the second or subsequent auditor
within a single company: 500 USD

AuditorRenewal Accreditation Fee:
•1000 USD (class notes provided but no manuals).
· Auditors who have not conducted an IS-BAO audit within the previous
two years will be required to first attend the IS-BAO Introductory Workshop.
